Brasserie Beck's Bar Lunch; Pei Wei Opens Downtown

NORTHEASTBardo Brewpub is sponsoring an Oktoberfest Brewery Bicycle Tour this coming Saturday at 1 p.m. It kicks off near the Brookland-Catholic University Metro station with stops at such places as DC Brau and New Columbia Distillery. PENN QUARTERBrasserie Beck has a new power lunch offer available at the bar. The deal just started this week; for $20, diners can get two courses, or one course and a dessert. A glass of wine can be added for another $5. Some of the early menu items include corn chowder with lobster, veal meatballs, a ratatouille crepe and a sweet corn and blueberry waffle. [EaterWire]
