DC Beer Fest Returns; Rosh Hashanah at Restaurants

VARIOUS LOCATIONS— Care to dine out for Rosh Hashanah? Washingtonian knows where to go. The magazine breaks down six restaurants celebrating the occasion, from Carving Room to DGS. [Washingtonian]

NAVY YARD— The D.C. Beer Fest is Back at Nationals Park this weekend. The event will take place Sept. 6 and 7th and feature more than 70 breweries. A similar event was held during the spring. Admission is $40 for unlimited sampling, but food is sold separately. [EaterWire]

BARRACKS ROW— Chef Bart Vandaele is teaming up with Goose Island Beer Company for a five course dinner featuring their brews. The dinner costs $59 per person with pairings, and features dishes like smoked mussel salad and slow-cooked ribs. [EaterWire]
