Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

1) Atlas District: The latest location of RedRocks opens today at 1348 H Street NE. This is the largest restaurant for the group, stretching over three floors. There are three bars, two wood ovens and a roof deck as well (with a retractable roof). There's room for 250 people. There are 20 tap lines as well as cider, prosecco and wine on tap.

The menu is a bit more expansive than the other locations, with Italian small plates, pastas and charcuterie (plus pizza, naturally). There will be a similar brunch to the Columbia Heights location with bottomless drinks. In late September, RedRocks will kick off an express lunch on weekdays, highlighting quick-cooking pizzas. The restaurant is offering a variety of food and drink promotions this week to kick off the opening. Status: Opening today. 1348 H St. NE; website.

2) NoMa: Indigo's first dinner service is slated for tonight. District Cuisine has more details on the Indian restaurant, which will feature a rotating menu of Indian dishes that will change frequently. There will be beer and wine, as well as counter service and takeout and delivery. Dinesh and Nidhi Tandon own the place; they used to have a restaurant in India, and have operated a food truck and an Eastern Market stall before opening Indigo. Status: Opening today. 243 K St. NE; website.
