Chefs to Grill on BLT's Roof; Lazy Days at Mothership

FARRAGUT— 5 chefs — Jon Mathieson of BLT, R.J. Cooper of Rogue 24, David Guas of Bayou Bakery, Anthony Lombardo of 1789 and Scot Harlan of Green Pig Bistro — are teaming up on Sept. 17 to say goodbye to summer. The chefs will be grilling on BLT Restaurant's rooftop. For $86, attendees can sample all-you-can-eat grilled fare, BLT popovers and drinks, with sales benefiting the National Children's Hospital. NAVY YARDWe're #4! We're #4! If the beer at Nationals Park seems awfully expensive, that's because it is. Team Marketing Report compared the cost of beer per ounce at all the major baseball stadiums throughout the country. Nationals Park came in fourth, at $0.52 per ounce (Boston is the most expensive at $0.60). At least they have local beer? [TMR]
