Kielbasa is Coming; Buildout Continues at 13th St. Meats

The sausage shop is coming soon. The folks behind 13th St. Meats have been sporadically posting construction photos on the spot's Facebook page, and looks like they're getting there. The latest move — workers are laying tiles and hanging hoods. The butcher shop is from bartender Scott McIntosh and his partner Chad America, and slated for 247 Florida Ave. NW. The start-up began as a pop-up, but the full scale retail operation is due soon.
