Ri-Ra Fans Miss Chance to Say Goodbye in Bethesda

Ri-Ra has served its last Irish Car Bomb in Bethesda. The Irish bar closed its doors over the weekend.

The closure of the restaurant was expected — there are plans to open a larger location in Georgetown to replace it — but according to Robert Dyer's blog, the timing was abrupt. The restaurant had previously announced it would be open another two weeks or so, before its landlord decided otherwise. The new Ri-Ra will open where Mie & Yu used to be.
