Drewno, Peter Chang Team Up for Chinese New Year

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Chinese New Year is always kind of a big deal at The Source, and this year is no exception. Wolfgang Puck's restaurant is marking the Year of the Horse with no less than two weeks of celebratory events, beginning January 27.

The big-ticket events: on Jan. 27, beloved Virginia chef Peter Chang will join The Source's Scott Drewno for a dim sum reception (it's $50 per person), featuring dumplings, The Clydesdale cocktail, and more. On Jan. 31, a family-style banquet meal will be offered for $50-$65 per person, depending on table size.

Also on the schedule: a dumpling-making class on Feb. 1 ($75), a pop-up street market with several stalls ($95 per person) Feb. 10, and wishing trees in the lobby where guests can win prizes. Throughout the two-week period, guest can also try out a Year of the Horse tasting menu.
