Fried pickles have been a cult favorite item on area restaurant and bar menus for some time now. Even more restaurants have started offering their take on frickles recently, from Ted's Bulletin to DGS Delicatessen. Fried pickle chips, or slices, seemed to be the early standard, but lately, more restaurants are frying up whole spears of pickle. Which technique is superior? Weigh in with your choice for this week's edition of (Un)necessary Questions, and feel free to share your favorite source for fried pickles in the comments.
