Tokifact Coming Soon; Kraze Burger Files for Ch. 11

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

BALTIMORE— Frequent collaborators Erik Bruner-Yang (Toki Underground) and Spike Gjerde (Woodberry Kitchen) are teaming up for a pop-up event at Gjerde's Artifact Coffee. Tokifact will have Bruner-Yang serving up locally-sourced bowls of ramen and dumplings at Artifact from Jan. 9-11 and Jan. 16-18. The Woodberry Kitchen chefs will make a spelt noodle for the ramen bowls, which will feature ingredients like local hens, canned peaches and local eggs. Woodberry's team will offer sake and cocktails, too. Food will be available until it sells out. [EaterWire]

BETHESDA— The Bethesda location of Kraze Burger, the first of the Korean burger chain to open in the area, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, according to the Washington Business Journal. No word yet on what it means for the other Kraze locations. [WBJ]
