The most expensive restaurant in the city just got more expensive. Minibar has bumped up its price (slightly) for the new year. José Andrés' tasting menu-centric, experimental restaurant is now $250 per person. That doesn't include wine pairings, which range from $75-$200 per person. The restaurant previously charged $225 per head.

The new price is listed online (hat tip to @qualityrye, who Tweeted the change). Eater has reached out to the restaurant's spokeswoman to find out if there was any particular reason driving the increase. In its former location in the Cafe Atlantico space, Minibar's price did increase periodically over the years.
