Ice Cream Jubilee to the Yards; New Brunch at Jaleo

NAVY YARD— A new ice cream purveyor called Ice Cream Jubilee will open at The Yards development this spring. The ice cream shop will occupy a little more than 1,000 square feet at the development, offering unusual flavors like Thai iced tea and banana bourbon caramel. Right now the brand is sold in local stores like Glen's Garden Market; this is their first retail location. [EaterWire]

FOOD MEDIA— The girl behind Girl Meets Food is moving on. Mary Kong-DeVito has sold her food blog to a new Los Angeles-based owner Dmitry Lumpov. The website will live on under the new ownership; Kong-DeVito departs Feb. 1. [EaterWire]
