A new coffee shop may be in Brookland's future. Filter coffeehouse owner Rasheed Jabr tells Eater that the company is mulling a new location in the Northeast neighborhood.
The location would be a partnership with the Bike Rack to create a combination bike shop/coffee shop. The space they're looking at is located right under the "B" on the Brookland sign next to the Metro. There's no lease signed yet, but if all goes as planned, a summer opening could be possible. This would be Filter location number three for the coffee shop: there are also Filters in Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom.
