New Restaurants for Ashburn; Red Tomato Cafe Closes

ASHBURN— Three new restaurants have signed up for the Ashburn development One Loudoun (that's the one with the Alamo Drafthouse), according to the Washington Business Journal. They include two chains and a new pizza joint. Zoe's Kitchen, Spinfire Pizza and The Meadows Original Frozen Custard are the tenants. [WBJ]

BETHESDA— Building problems have led to the shutter of a Bethesda favorite. Red Tomato Cafe has closed its doors, according to Bethesda Now. [BN]

SHAW— Looks like another restaurant is trying to capture the addictiveness of Chick-fil-A's sandwiches. The latest is Right Proper Brewing Company; The Washington Post has a tribute to the pickle-accented sandwich. [WaPo]
