Behind-the-Scenes at Ted's Bulletin, Opening Soon at Mosaic

October 6 is opening day for the latest diner — take a Plywood Tour on Training Day.

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

The fried chicken is there. The alcoholic milkshakes are there. Fans of Ted's Bulletin know what to expect from the latest location, opening October 6 at Mosaic District in Fairfax.

The opening coincides with the release of Ted's new, updated menu. Chef Eric Brannon explains the new menu has a lighter fare section, a new theme night (pot pies on Monday, and Prime Rib expanded to Friday and Saturday), and some new dessert items like a mile-high cake. There's also a new appetizer section. He's particularly excited about the tri-tip steak, which is being used in multiple menu items like steak and eggs, as well as some new salmon from Norway.

This Ted's location has seating for 156 people. A patio will come next spring. Diners will recognize several design elements from the other Ted's locations.
