The Guide to The 2014 Fall Dining Guide

WaPo breaks it down by the numbers. Poor Maryland — only one featured restaurant is located there, and it's in Baltimore.

Going Out Guide breaks down Tom Sietsema's 2014 Dining Guide (so Eater doesn't have to) in a By the Numbers post.

Some interesting tidbits: Baltimore's Woodberry Kitchen is the only Maryland restaurant featured. 11 new places made the list. Oval Room and the Red Hen both went up in the stars department.

And these are the places that didn't make the list from last year: Ambar, Bangkok Golden, Barmini, Blue Duck Tavern, Bourbon Steak, Casa Luca, CityZen, Daikaya, DGS, Estadio, Etto, Garden District, GBD, Ghibellina, Izakaya Seki, Kapnos, Kogiya, Range, Trummer's on Main, Vermilion, Malgudi, Meaza.
