Spike Mendelsohn's new television show debuts tonight. "Midnight Feast," on FYI, premieres at 10 p.m. this evening.
The premise has three chefs going to Chelsea Market after-hours and making a dish with ingredients found at the food hall (there's usually some sort of catch). The winners get money; the losers pay their own tabs. Here's a clip.
Mendelsohn is hosting and judging; Eater's own Kat Odell and chef John DeLucie will also judge. Six episodes are planned.
