In honor of Eater Cocktail Week, Pop's SeaBar will feature the Kenney Cola.

Co-owner Justin Abad named the drink for Kenney Garret, a close friend who helped manage the buildout for the Adams Morgan bar.

At the end of each work day, Kenney woudl always ask for a "cola" instead of a cocktail or beer. But the night before the restaurant's preview, Abad made him a spiked coke with Averna Amaro and a cherry. "He loved them and drank them the rest of the night," Abad said.

The restaurant's Cocktail Week special is an homage to that beverage. It includes 2 oz homemade cola syrup (citrus zest, juie, sugar, cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg and vanilla), 2 oz Averna Amaro, 0.25 oz Luxardo cherry juice and soda water. It's served in a Collins glass over cubed ice with a Luxardo cherry to garnish. Give it a try all this week for $8.
