Tom Cunanan has been chosen to lead the kitchen at Bad Saint, the Filipino restaurant opening in Columbia Heights later this winter.

Nick Pimentel (Room 11) and Genevieve Villamora are behind the anticipated restaurant, which will be located at 3226 11th St. NW. Cunanan has cooked at several D.C. restaurants including Vidalia, DC Coast, Zentan, Bibiana, La Chaumerie and the former Hook and PS7's restaurants. He most recently worked as sous chef at Ardeo/Bardeo, and also had his own Filipino catering company, Tarsier Catering.

Bad Saint is aiming to open later this winter.
