Restaurant openings today range from airport dining to Frank Ruta's return.

1) Van Ness: Bread Feast, the weekly dinner overseen by former Palena chef Frank Ruta at Bread Furst bakery, kicks off today. Tonight's meal involves palladin bread bowls, veal breast, antipasto and more. The first dinner is sold out. Status: Starting tonight. 4434 Connecticut Ave. NWwebsite.

2) Crystal City: American Tap Room opens its location in Reagan National Airport today. The local grill chain has locations in such neighborhoods as Clarendon and Reston. Status: Opening today. Ronald Reagan National Airportwebsite.

3) North Bethesda: Quincy's South Bar & Grill has opened in White Flint, replacing Ray's Rock 'n Raw Bar. The bar comes from the original owner of the bar of the same name in Gaithersburg.
