Yard House Will Bring 130 Draft Beers to Springfield Town Center Next Month

The new-to-the-DMV chain will offer draft beers as half-yard, traditional pint, shorty or six-pack sampler.

The D.C. area's first outpost of national chain Yard House is slated to open on November 26 at the new Springfield Town Center. It's huge — 11,000-square-foot, 300-seat restaurant will be open for lunch, dinner, and late night dining. Expect American entrees like mac and cheese, burgers, steaks and ribs, as well as outliers like tacos and spicy tuna rolls, too.

Since Yard House is known for its draft beer, the restaurant's glass-enclosed keg room can hold up to 5,000 gallons of beer. All that beer will travel through miles of overhead nylon beer lines to a central island bar. And the 130 draft beers will include 13 local selections, like DC Brau, Port City, Blue Mountain and Starr Hill.
