Eater reported this week about signage for a new restaurant called Mason Social coming soon to the former Esmerelda's space at 728 N. Henry St in Alexandria. Now Mason Social's Chad Sparrow revealed that they hope to open the venue by the end of this year.
That's the plan, but Sparrow didn't want to reveal too many details ahead of time. He said that the cuisine will be modern American fare. The restaurant will have a second entrance for the bar, which will feature televisions and local craft beers. "We're not only going with beer, it's going to be a full bar," Sparrow said.
