Jerome Grant is the new chef at The Mitsitam Native Foods Cafe, the restaurant within the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. He replaces longtime chef Richard Heltzer, who's now over at Ovvio in Merrifield.
Grant's fall menu for the cafe includes such dishes as pumpkin cornbread, wild rice and acorn squash chowder, Peruvian chicken soup and Brazilian fish stew.
