Tallula is Closing, But The Chef Will Get a New Restaurant

Arlington mainstay Tallula, as well as its sister bar EatBar, are closing on Sunday, Oct. 26.

But its chef, Rob Rubba, will still have a home. Neighborhood Restaurant Group said in a press release today that they plan to launch a new restaurant with the chef, who has previously worked at Le Bec Fin and Azur.

The company was unable to reach an agreement with the landlord on renewing Tallula's lease. They're in the process of looking for locations for Rubba's new restaurant, which will have a global menu.

Tallula opened in 2004; EatBar came along in 2007.
