People were more than a little interested to get a peek at what Bad Saint's all about at the restaurant's pop-up event over the weekend.
Lines snaked down the block for the event, which took place Sunday at the Dolcezza Factory near Union Market. According to co-owner Nick Pimentel, they ended up serving about 600 people over a three hour period.
Bad Saint will open later this winter at 3226 11th St. NW. Tom Cunanan is leading the kitchen, serving up Filipino dishes; the place is owned by Pimentel and Genevieve Villamora.
