Deschutes Brewery officially launches in the D.C. market this month.

The Oregon brewery recently collaborated with chef José Andrés on a beer called Zarabanda, a spiced saison. According to a rep, that beer will be among those distributed when the brewery launches in D.C. next month. It's flavored with lemon verbena, pink peppercorn, sumac and dried lime.

Launch events will take place Nov. 18-20. They'll be at Churchkey Tuesday at 6 p.m., American Taproom in Arlington Wednesday at 6 p.m. and Rustico on Thursday starting at 6 p.m. Jaleo will also host events on the same days, first downtown, then Bethesda and then Crystal City. Fans of the beer will be able to use the brewery's beer finder to track them down once they're in the market.
