D.C. Might Get Its Own Cat Cafe

It was only a matter of time. Looks like D.C. might be the next place to get a cat cafe.

There's a website for a cafe called Crumbs & Whiskers, which is looking to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the effort. DCist followed up with founder Kanchan Singh, who says they'd like to launch the funding campaign in January and ideally get open by summer. Details on the location were not revealed.

Cat cafes have been a huge craze for the past several months. One has opened in California and there are plans for them in such places as New York.
