Inside the 20s-Inspired Denson Liquor Bar

It's a place to drink whiskey.

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Ari Gejdenson's latest project is Denson Liquor Bar. The space is designed with some art-deco influences. The rich-looking seating almost has a metallic sheen, while the bar is backed by gold accents and exposed brick.

Denson, located in Penn Quarter, has a bar which emphasizes whiskey. The food menu is international (Gejdenson's other projects, Ghibellina and Acqua Al 2, lean Italian). It opens to the public tonight.
