Milk Cult Has Found a Home in D.C.

They've signed a lease for a warehouse space.

Ice cream sandwich experts Milk Cult have found a permanent home.

After about eight months of effort, Milk Cult has signed a lease for a warehouse space at 79 Hanover Place NW. Co-owner Ed Cornell says the space will allow them to permanently operate their pop-up, The Sanctuary, which used to operate at Park View Patio. What they'll do with the rest of the space (it's pretty large) remains to be determined. "It will depend on what the city will let us do," he said in an email.

Cornell says he'd ideally like to get Milk Cult up and running at the warehouse by spring, though permitting delays could push that back.
