The renovations are complete and the Georgetown restaurant is in soft opening mode this week.

After shuttering quickly for renovations and restructuring this summer, After Peacock Room has reopened with a new look. According to a Facebook post, regular lunch and dinner service will begin December 3.

For now, the restaurant is operating on a soft-opening schedule, open for dinner service only through November 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with the last seating at 9:30 p.m. They'll be closed tonight — After Peacock Room will be normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays — and on Thanksgiving. The restaurant will also be open for take-out coffee from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 30. According to After Peacock's website, the menu includes dishes like roasted chicken soup, beet salad, crispy trout and pork loin with kimchi stew. Beer, wine, tea and coffee are all available.
