AWARDS SEASON— Eater threw a party last night at Compass Rose to toast D.C.'s nominees and winners of the 2014 Eater Awards. Compass Rose hosted the event, which featured cocktails from Jack Caminos, plenty of khachapuri, chicken skewers, Yuquitas fritas and more. Winners were honored with their tomato can awards, and attendees included Tim Ma of Water & Wall, Marjorie Meek-Bradley of Roofers Union, Johnny Spero of Minibar and many more. [EaterWire]

FARRAGUT SQUARE— Equinox is adding live music to its brunch service. December's acts will emphasize reggae, while January performances will lean classical. [EaterWire]

FALLS CHURCH— Eden Center just got a big new grocery store (which is likely to draw in some more foot traffic for the Vietnamese restaurants surrounding it). Good Fortune opened over the weekend at 6751 Wilson Blvd. [EaterWire]
