Next up for The Yards development near the stadium — a Southern restaurant from Bo Blair.

Due South will open next spring in The Lumber Shed building (which houses such destinations as Osteria Morini and Agua 301). It will occupy about 3,366 square feet of space, feature outdoor seating, floor-to-ceiling glss windows and other architectural touches. All spaces in the building are now leased (the project is also getting an oyster bar in Navy Yard Oyster Company).

Due South is from Blair's Georgetown Events, which operates such restaurants as the Jetties chain, Surfside, Bayou, Smith Point and Something Sweet Bakery (he also runs Truckeroo and the Half Street Fairgrounds). Bayou chef Rusty Holman will be a partner at Due South.
