The name change is minor, but the menu changes are more extensive: Bethesda's Roof restaurant is now Roof Kitchen & Bar (the area's trendy naming convention of the moment), with a redesigned restaurant to match.
Chef Jed Fox has added a bunch of small plates, including tuna tacos and crispy chicken wings, to the offerings. They've also expanded the dessert menu, and added such dishes as BBQ baby back ribs, pot roast, new salads and more. The restaurant plans to have daily specials, too, as well as a late night and a traditional happy hour.
