Jack Caminos is taking over the bar program at Compass Rose.
The veteran of Black Jack and the Brixton will debut a new cocktail program at the restaurant next Wednesday. He's taken on the role of beverage manager there.
Compass Rose is also going to start serving its addictive, buttery khachapuri on Friday and Saturday late night. They normally close the kitchen at 11 p.m. but will offer the dish until 2 a.m. those nights (the bar is open until 3 a.m.).
Khachapuri has been nicknamed "butter pizza" and combines cheese, dough and egg; it's a Georgian specialty.
