Maison-Dixon's hitting up 51st State Tavern once more this year.

1.) Maison-Dixon at 51st State Tavern
When: Today, December 12 from 4pm to midnight.
Where: 51st State Tavern
2512 L Street NW
What: The DC-based southern food makers are popping up at 51st State Tavern again, offering Nashville Hot Chicken, fish, chicken 'n' waffles and grilled pimento cheese dishes. Reservations not required, though RSVPs are recommended — to do so, email reservations@maisondixondc.com.


2.) Brunch with Santa
When: Sunday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 21, 10am
Where: Gypsy Soul
8296 Glass Alley, Fairfax
What: A buffet brunch for families with a special guest: Santa himself. Adults pay $25 and it's $15 for kids to eat from a selection of breakfast foods including grilled radicchio salad, smoked fish dip, soft scrambled eggs and Christmas cookies. Reservations are recommended and can be made through the Gypsy Soul website or by calling (703) 992-0933.

3.) Parcel Market
When: Friday, Dec. 12 (5-9pm); Saturday, Dec. 13 (12pm-9pm); Sunday, Dec. 14 (12pm-5pm)
Where: Canal Park Ice Rink

What:
A weekend-long holiday market centered around a skating rink. While the shopping will be grand, the food's also a draw. Food vendors include Bluejacket craft beverages and sausages, Ice Cream Jubilee, Undone Chocolate, Teeny Pies and dishes from Maketto, the new project of Erik Bruner-Yang.
