Warming Cocktails; Holiday Tea Service

And winter Restaurant Week dates announced.

PENN QUARTER—nopa Kitchen + Bar has added four warm cocktails to its happy hour menu, which is available weekdays 4:30pm until 7pm. While the liquors will change, the starting menu sees a Kentucky Coffee with Baileys and whiskey, a hot toddy with cardamon-infused bourbon, a mulled wine with cognac and becherovka and a spiked hot chocolate, no featuring frangelico. SOUTHWEST—The Empress Lounge at Mandarin Oriental has introduced a new weekend holiday tea service. From Friday - Sunday, 2:30pm to 4:30pm, adults (and their kids) can partake in teas and seasonal cocktails — think chocolate martini, ganache hot chocolate — served with three tiers of treats both savory and sweet. Saturday services means Santa visits, with small gifts for kids. Will run $38 for adults, $19 for kids. [EaterWire]
