Festive Pop Tarts; International Hot Chocolate

PASTRY BULLETIN—Ted's Bulletin, purveyors of adult-marketed childhood-favorite pastries is offering a festive new flavor of their pop tarts for the holiday season. From now until Jan. 15, there's the peppermint fudge pop tart, a pastry that brings together chocolate fudge, chocolate glaze, crumbled peppermint bark and colorful sprinkles. [EaterWire]

WEST END—The Lobby Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton is putting an international spin on hot chocolate. From now through December 31, there will be hot chocolate flavors from around the world for $8, spiked for $12. Selections include South African Hot Chocolate (Madagascan chocolates garnished with sesame tuile) and Indian Hot Chocolate (spiked with cinnamon and black cardamom) among others. [EaterWire]
