Plus a ping pong club (plus coffee and bar) coming to Columbia Heights.

Colony Club

1) Shaw: The new — larger and improved — Shaw location of Beau Thai is scheduled to open Dec. 26. It's located at 7th St. and P St. NW and will seat around 100 in the dining room and bar combined. [PLYWOOD]

2) Columbia Heights: The 3100 block of Georgia Ave. NW is getting a new multipurpose space, Colony Club, reports Prince of Petworth. The space (exact address: 3118 Georgia Ave., NW) will house a coffee shop and a bar and will also serve as the home base of a ping pong club. [PLYWOOD]

3) Foggy Bottom: Greenberry's — a coffee shop that began in Charlottesville in 1992 — is opening up another D.C. location on the corner of 18th and E St. NW, reports Prince of Petworth. [PLYWOOD]

4) Chinatown: The Bulletin Building (717 6th St. NW) is getting a new restaurant, reports Prince of Petworth. No idea what it is, but at least the capacity is known: "57 seats on the third floor, 63 seats on the fourth floor." Hmm. [PLYWOOD]
