Thip Khao Officially Opens This Friday

After several soft opening events and some unexpected travel time for the chef, Bangkok Golden's sister restaurant is here.

It's finally coming. Though some fans got an early preview of Laotian restaurant Thip Khao at the restaurant's friends and family months about a month ago, the restaurant's public debut was delayed due to the chef having to travel abroad unexpectedly.

But the wait is over come Friday. Thip Khao, from Bangkok Golden chef Seng Luangrath, opens to all in a few days. The restaurant is not yet taking reservations.

According to an email blast, Thip Khao's hours will be Friday and Saturday from 5-11 p.m. and Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays from 5-10 p.m. Status: Soft opening complete; opening Friday. 3462 14th St. NW; website.
