The Diner in Adams Morgan will be home to the city's first Bitcoin "ATM machine."
The 24/7 restaurant will house a machine that will let Bitcoin users buy or sell Bitcoins while they're at The Diner. Owner Constantine Stavropoulos said in a press release the move makes sense since The Diner prides itself as a neighborhood gathering place.
They may be housing the operation, but the release notes that the restaurant will not be accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment. So make sure to carry cash or credit card if pancakes are also on the agenda.
