Chef Grant Mitsitam Cafe

The Smithsonian Institution's acclaimed Mitsitam Native Foods Cafe at the National Museum of the American Indian just unveiled a new winter menu, devised by the cafe's new executive chef Jerome Grant. Chef Grant was part of the culinary team that won Mitistam Cafe a Rammy for Best Casual Restaurant in 2012.

And now for the winter season, the cafe offers winter-battling stews and soups like buffalo chili, Argentinian sorrel and potato soup with dried ham and Ecuadorian-style goat stew served with rice and yucca. And at the Mitsitam Espresso Coffee Bar, try a steaming cup of Mexican hot chocolate.
