D.C. won't have to wait until spring to get a first look at a cat cafe.
Twitter account @PopUpCatCafe Tweets that a pop-up cat cafe will be housed at Rock & Roll Hotel December 18 from 5-8 p.m. Frozen Tropics says eight cats will be there to play and as potential adoption candidates.
DC got its first taste of the cat cafe trend sweeping the nation when Crumbs & Whiskers announced a potential opening next year. They probably won't open until next fall, though, as the owners are still looking for a space and funding.
