Roofers Union, Nurish, Dairy Godmother Opening

1) Adams Morgan: Roofers Union had its soft opening over the weekend. There's a private event tonight and the "official" opening date is tomorrow. This is the new restaurant from the team behind Cleveland Park's Ripple. It stretches over multiple floors where The Reef used to be. There's a reclaimed wood and exposed brick-style design and more casual menu items than the sister restaurant. Status: Open. 2446 18th St. NW; website.

2) Anacostia: The Washington Post reports Nurish Food & Drink opened its doors Saturday. This is the cafe within the Anacostia Arts Center run by Kera Carpenter of Domku. Coffee, salads and share plates are on the menu. Status: Open. 1231 Good Hope Rd SE,; website.

3) Del Rey: The Dairy Godmother is wrapping up its annual winter break. Patch reports the custard place will reopen its doors Wednesday, offering new items like rose vanilla ice pops, raspberry and guava sorbets for Valentine's Day, King Cakes and more.
