Ten years of business success means Matchbox has something to celebrate — and they're doing so by releasing their own private wine label. The wine, created exclusively for the restaurant by Jed Steele, combines 12 grape varietals from Lake County, California.
Matchbox will sell the wine in its restaurants for $8 a glass and $28 per bottle. It was designed to pair well with pizza and bistro fare, naturally. About half of the wine is made up of zinfandel and syrah.
All locations of sister restaurant Ted's Bulletin will also serve the wine while supplies last. It's called Matchbox blend.
