Thaaja Indian Cuisine is Now Mint

NoMa's Thaaja Indian Cuisine has become Mint Indian Food Bar. PoPville first noted the change. Looks like the new menu is more like a traditional Indian restaurant, with a lunch buffet, curries and a large vegetarian selection.

Thaaja opened in January of last year at 1335 2nd St. NE. It was one of the city's few attempts to adapt the fast casual restaurant model to Indian cuisine. Eater has reached out to the Thaaja team to determine whether the ownership has changed.
