Gringos & Mariachis is almost open. Owner Roberto Pietrobono (Olazzo) tells Eater the restaurant hopes to debut sometime next week (and construction looks pretty far along). The restaurant will specialize in the cuisine from the city of Puebla in Mexico.

There are a ton of different tacos to choose from on the menu, with fillings including duck, carne asada, braised beef tongue, huitlacoche (also known as "corn smut"), short rib and more. The menu also has tortas, nachos, several types of guacamole and other small plates and entrees. The decor of the restaurant features several murals, weathered walls, a marble bar and Day of the Dead-inspired imagery.
