Inside Pinstripes, D.C.'s New Bowling Alley/Eatery

Pinstripes, the Midwestern restaurant/entertainment venue/bowling alley, stakes its claim in D.C. this weekend, with the opening of its Georgetown Park location. Others in Maryland and Virginia are being considered as well.

The big venue stretches over two floors and 34,000 square feet of space. The restaurant inside the venue serves up Italian-American classics. Inside, there are bocce courts, 14 bowling lanes and a wine cellar. There is an outdoor fireplace and patio, too. This is the fifth Pinstripes to open nationwide, and more are on the way. The venue will host a private event Friday, and open to the public Saturday.
