Mike Isabella's Sandwiches Coming to Nats Ballpark

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Mike Isabella is opening a second location of G, this time within Nationals Ballpark.

The stadium will offer four of the restaurant's sandwiches, including the chicken parm and a rotating special. The location will be on the main concourse near the first base gate, behind Section 136. G will be open in time for the exhibition game against the Detroit Tigers on March 29.

Levy Restaurants, which runs concessions at the ballpark, said in January that several new options would be arriving this year, including sushi and stir-fry, though no specific vendors were named at that point. The stadium has featured other local restaurants before, such as Hard Times Cafe and Ben's Chili Bowl.

Update: A Nats spokeswoman says G is replacing Diamond Classics, which will be combined with a Nats Dog stand si that all menu items there (nachos, etc.) will remain.
