Liberty Tavern Tops Pizza with Duck Sausage

D.C.'s stellar pizzas aren't only to be found in pizzerias. Liberty Tavern is just one example of restaurants which may not specialize in pizza, but still offer stellar pies among their entrees.

For their Pizza Week special, new chef Matt Hill turned to an interesting ingredient as the main focus: duck sausage. That ingredient was combined with roasted garlic, tomato, escarole, ricotta and pecorino to create a unique, savory pie. Find it all week at the Arlington restaurant for $13.
