Yes, Radius Has a Nutella Calzone — They're Not Alone

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

It sounds like kind of an off-the-wall menu item: a Nutella calzone? But believe it or not, several D.C. restaurants have boasted the dessert item on their menus at one time or another.

That includes Radius Pizza in D.C. Their Nutella calzone is served with a side of homemade ice cream, in such flavors a vanilla, banana or mint. The restaurant has a tendency to play with calzones: they've served a breakfast one as well, along with the traditional styles.

Eastern Market's 7th Hill Pizza also has a Nutella calzone. It's been a standby on the dessert menu for years. The dessert item can also be found at Bethesda's Pizzeria da Marco and Al Dente.

Meanwhile, fans of the dish should always be sure to scan an Italian restaurant's dessert menu in search of one. Such places as the former Coppi's Organic and Cesco Osteria have offered the dish at one point or another.
