WATERFRONT— With all the redevelopment over at the Southwest Waterfront, particularly the new Wharf project, one restaurant will go away. Pier 7 Restaurant is closing after more than 40 years. The seafood restaurant was known for live jazz. March 31 will be their last day in business, and the restaurant's contents, including its 70s era decor, will go to auction (a tour of the property for bidders is scheduled for April 18 by auction house Rasmus). NORTHWEST— DNV's rooftop is opening up for the season on Saturday. The spot on top of the Donovan House hotel will open at 5 p.m. with beer, wine and cocktails. Come mid-April, there will be Asian tacos and cocktails from chef Jennifer Nguyen. [EaterWire]
